I'm at a loss why the drive is not working in Itunes.ĭoes anyone have any advice or solutions? Many thanks in advance. I am running Vista using an administrator account. Going into task manager under DVD/Cd rom drives I have attempted to update my drivers but Windows finds nothing. im a noob at this is there a simpler way to removing gear software and i didnt see gearsec.exe running in task manager after i open itunes. I already have Roxio Creator installed which recognises my disc drive when using that software. Strange thing is when I insert an audio cd in my drive Itunes recognises the disc and asks if I want to import it the disc logo also appears on the left side of the screen under "devices"
Looking at properties of my cd/dvd drive in my computer I get: "Cd Burner No supported disc burners found" In Itunes going to Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Burning, I get Problem I'm having is Itunes when attempting to burn a playlist to cd says "disc burner or software not found" and I cannot burn a cd Just installed New Itunes 7 (7.2.0.35) onto my Dell Inspiron 640 laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium
